Brand New 3BR Retreat | Sauna | Private Rooftop

We were visiting Seattle for our son's graduation from UW. The rental is in a quiet neigborhood, close to restaurants and easy access to everywhere. It was super clean, in excellent condition and beds were super comfortable. Parking in back is a little tight but street parking is super easy to find. We had two cars so parked on in back and one on street. I highly recommend!!

My family and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful town home. It was perfectly located, close to so many fun things to do in Ballard. The house was perfect. The rooms and the beds were fantastic. The bathrooms were very nice, and there was ample space for our group of five. I highly recommend.

My family (4 of us) traveled to Seattle for a spring break trip. Place was nice, clean and in a good neighborhood. Mgr was AWOL when we needed him most. This bothered me from the first day and on. The not so quick version is, as soon as the vrbo was booked i asked about a early check in. The response was what I expected, ‘depends on the cleaners timeline, cant guarantee a early check in’. That I understand. So, I thought I would check back again the day of check in. I did send a message a couple times Sunday morning (day of check in). No response. Ghosted me until the next afternoon. At that time I received a pre-populated response, which was the same as what I got a couple days before about can’t guarantee anything depends on the cleaners timeline. Nothing original. Had the manager checked with the cleaners I know we could’ve checked in at least a few before 4 o’clock, because we were there at 2:00. I thought I would check with the cleaners myself. There was no one around. I punched in the security code and entered. Everything was clean and they were gone. This was more of a big deal at the time because we were up all night at the airport . Arrived Seattle at 7 in the morning. We were all dead tired, and felt like we were just trying to kill time until we could check in. Had the manager really cared he would’ve checked with the cleaners and got back to us. Just like other managers at other VRBO’s have done for me in the past. Bad first impression!

We had the best time during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make some of our meals at home, and the living room was a comfortable space to hang out and play games. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linens and towels were all very luxurous. The sauna on the roof was also a great amenity during our cold, rainy stay. There was plenty of street parking and space behind the unit. The only downside was that there isn't a bathroom on the main floor. This normally wouldn't be an issue at all, but our 92 year old grandma was staying with us and it was a bit of a challenge to go up and down the stairs to use the restroom multiple times a day. Totally fine for the rest of us, but just something to consider if you have someone who has a harder time with stairs. Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely book this property again the next time we come to Seattle.
